Interesting ideas. In my place/case, the areas surrounding the A/C units are already filled pretty well with either acrylic or insulation, simply the street racket is coming through – loud and clear – via the A/C unit of measurement itself; they're just holes in the window to the exterior world, covered with an air filter and a plastic grille. I've been looking for some kind of rubber or plastic "shoe" of sorts that could be fitted over the grille of the A/C units, specifically to block the racket that passes through the units.
