Color Pool
At a serene poolside, a little whimsy (those blue and white striped cushions) meets a lilliputian formality (those matched palms) in tropical perfection. The wooden walkway leads to a jungle of mangroves and streams. Around the infinity pool, teak chairs and chaises from Sutherland, their arms and legs unusually refined. Chairside drum tables are from John Rosselli.

Color Family Room
In the family unit room, a Vietnamese bed — with a box below it for toys — makes a large and gracious coffee table; striped material on the cushions and bolsters of the pikestaff-back slipper chairs comes from Old World Weavers; pillows on the Irish gaelic linen sofa are Cowtan & Tout's LeBrun toile.

Colour Entry
A modern entry hall is aged and softened past an antique Indian mirror on the stairs, and an antique demote wrapped in vintage Ikat textiles.

In the dining area a chandelier from Mecox Gardens lights a mahogany pie-wedge expansion table from Guild Antiques.

The "map room" sofas and ottoman are upholstered in Cowtan & Tout cottons with contrasting welts. The Anglo-Indian sconce was establish at Gild Antiques. Bell gave a new wall map an antiquarian wait with clear semi-matte acrylic glaze tinted with raw sienna and raw umber.

The open, spacious kitchen has "a place for everything, and everything in its identify," says Bell.

The report's walls are upholstered in a Peter Fasano blueish-and-green stripe. On the floor, a sisal carpet from Stark.

Colour Bath
"I love the manner the blue glass tile adds dial to the master bath," says Bell. The tile, equally well as the black and white river stone floor, are from Ann Sacks. A Zoffany print covers a skirted vanity chair found at a consignment store.

Color Bath
A traditional glass lantern is from Vaughan, and is reflected in the simplest of mirrors framed in tile. The cupboards' latticed doors and the trim on the vanity continue the bedroom's Moorish theme.

Color Bedroom
In a plantation-similar master bedroom with a stenciled frieze, antique pier tables are the perfect bedside height for the unusually high British Colonial-style bed; the fabric of the canopy'southward valance is from William Ashby, and the bed skirt, in Hinson'southward Dottery Blue on off-white, matches the custom club chair and ottoman. The pattern of the Stark rug is echoed on the master bathroom floor. Custom wall color is glazed and combed. Bong designed the decorative Gothic trim.
